Storytelling experience.

Storytelling experience. Telling a story may seem easy, but it’s not that simple. As a group we chose the story "A Rose For Emily", which is about a story not so conventional, however it has a lot of reality within the fiction. Personally, I find the story of Emily Grierson very sad and tragic, and it reminds us that our environment can mark our lives. Just as it led to self-destruction. But despite all the negatives of the story, you can perceive its gothic and mysterious beauty, an unexpected end, and the characters well described, make pleasant reading. Unfortunately, because we do not coincide with our work schedules in order to dramatize the story, we only participate with our voice. However, I am satisfied with the work we have been doing. In conclusion, we may not have lived the experience like the other groups, however it has been good to work as a team with our limitations, but always eager to do our best. I think it has been a wonderful experience to study a little

Short story experience.

My experience creating a short story. It really was a fascinating experience to create a new story, although it is difficult to make it totally original because in the stories there may be elements or characters that are repeated. In the case of "In The Heart Of Darkness" we take into account details of one of the most mysterious Native American cultures, the Appalachians, creating a story that takes place in the mountains that bear his name. Using the idea of overcoming darkness, it makes me understand that it is something that can only be done through love and willpower. We cannot change others, but with ourselves it is enough. The story is basically about Dakota, the protagonist, undertaking an adventure to overthrow evil, out of love for her people. Erela, a being of light, and the character I gave voice to, helps Dakota in his mission by giving his life. And in the end the evil manages to be overcome, although the pain of losing a friend invades the protagonist forever.

Stem Cell Transfusion: A promising approach to fighting aging.

Stem Cell Transfusion: A promising approach to fighting aging. Aging is a natural and inevitable phenomenon that affects all human beings. As the years pass, our body undergoes changes at the cellular level that result in decreased function and the appearance of age-related conditions. In this context, stem cell transfusion emerges as a promising strategy in the search for solutions to mitigate the effects of aging. Stem cells are versatile cells with the unique ability to transform into various types of cells in the body. This property makes them an invaluable tool for regenerating tissues and organs, opening the door to a wide range of medical applications, including anti-aging. For this reason, stem cell transfusion involves the introduction of these cells into the body in order to regenerate and rejuvenate damaged tissues. These cells are usually obtained from the placentas and umbilical cords of selected mothers who authorize these procedures. Preliminary research suggests that

Sleep Paralysis: Between reality and deep sleep

Imagen
Sleep Paralysis: Between reality and deep sleep. Sleep paralysis, a peculiar and often frightening phenomenon, is an experience that lies at the crossroads between the world of dreams and wakefulness. It is characterized by a temporary inability to move or speak upon waking or falling asleep. This state, though brief, can feel eternal for those who experience it. When a person experiences sleep paralysis, his brain wakes up while his body still remains in the REM sleep state, where the muscles are naturally paralyzed to prevent the realization of movements associated with dreams. This mismatch between the brain and the body creates a feeling of complete immobility. In addition to immobility, those who experience sleep paralysis often report additional sensations. Some report a pressure in the chest or a feeling of tightness, while others mention the perception of presences or even visual and auditory hallucinations. Sleep paralysis can be linked to a variety of factors. Stress, sleep d

Biotechnology and its capacity to create human lives.

Biotechnology and its capacity to create human lives. Biotechnology, a discipline that combines knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics and technology, has revolutionized the way we understand and manipulate life today. One of the most fascinating and controversial fields within biotechnology is its ability to influence the creation of human lives. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is one of the most outstanding achievements in this field. This technique allows the union of eggs and sperm in a controlled environment in the laboratory, before being implanted in the mother’s uterus. This has given hope to couples with difficulty conceiving naturally, expanding the possibilities of forming families. Another important milestone is genetic engineering. With the advancement of CRISPR-Cas9 technology, scientists have the ability to edit the DNA of living organisms, opening the door to the correction of hereditary genetic diseases and the creation of personalized genetic therapies. Although this p

Doubts about the Apollo 11 space mission in 1969.

Doubts about the Apollo 11 space mission in 1969. "A small step for man, a great step for humanity" (Neil Armstrong) The Apollo program was a promise made by former American president John F. Kennedy in the early 1960s. This program aimed to bring a crew to the moon (astronauts) to do scientific exploration, which was carried out in 14 missions. Thus, on July 16, 1969, history was made when the successful Apollo 11 mission was broadcast on television and seen by about 650 million people in the world. The great feat was to take the three astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin on an expedition on the moon and have them return safely on July 20 of the same year. It was a great step forward for humanity and a great triumph for the US government in the context of the cold war against the Soviet Union. It seems that today people are divided between those who believe and those who do not believe that man came to the moon. Many say doubts about the veracity of t

"Omm Seti" and her past life in Egypt 3,000 years ago. Dorothy Louis Eady was a woman born in London in 1904 with an incredible story, since she claimed to be a priestess of the temple of Abydos, Egypt, 3,000 years ago.  Dorothy lived like an ordinary child, until at the age of three she suffered a serious accident. One day the little girl fell from the stairs of her house, being immediately unconscious; so, her parents very worried, called a doctor who examined her thoroughly and declared her dead. Then, the doctor left the house to do the death certificate and prepare the body, leaving the little girl in her bedroom. However, an hour later, upon returning to Dorothy's home, he found the girl playing in her bed as if nothing had happened to her. She recounted that the doctor got upset with her, while her father got upset with the doctor because he thought he had lied to them and caused them a fright. But the interesting thing about the case is that. moments later, the gi
